Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sami Holmn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brock Lesnar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sami Holmn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar ! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt. Lesnar looks gassed! Holmn tries to close the distance and clinch but Lesnar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Holmn throws a leg kick which misses Lesnar 's front leg but catches the back leg as Lesnar tries to avoid it. Holmn wants to clinch. Holmn tries to clinch up. Holmn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Holmn lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Brock Lesnar has been cut. Holmn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lesnar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Holmn moves into the clinch. Holmn could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lesnar keeps control of Holmn as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Lesnar is trying to maintain a safe position but Holmn gets an underhook and turns Lesnar into the cage. Holmn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lesnar has him pressed against the cage. Lesnar taking a breather. Holmn lands a knee to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Holmn misses with a knee to the head. Holmn breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holmn fails to land with a series of punches.
Holmn throws a nice outside leg kick. Holmn connects with a solid leg kick. Holmn tries to clinch up but Lesnar circles away and keeps his distance. Holmn instigates a clinch. Holmn lands an elbow just above Lesnar 's eye. Holmn crunches a lovely knee into Lesnar 's ribcage. Holmn tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Holmn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Holmn moves into range and clinches up with Lesnar . Holmn lands a damaging elbow. Holmn taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Holmn is looking to break free of the clinch but Lesnar has double underhooks. Holmn lands an elbow that stopped Lesnar in his tracks for a moment. Holmn connects with a nasty looking knee right to Lesnar 's face.
This has been an exciting period of action! Holmn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Holmn misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar swats away the attempt to clinch by Holmn. Lesnar misses with a leg kick and Holmn counters by moving into the clinch. Holmn is trying to break the clinch but Lesnar has him pressed against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Holmn.
Lesnar has a couple of punches blocked by Holmn.
Holmn with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Holmn lands an elbow just above Lesnar 's eye. Holmn gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Holmn tries a knee to the head but Lesnar blocks it.

Holmn taking a breather. Lesnar blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Holmn's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Holmn tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Lesnar trying to control the position but instead, Holmn has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lesnar into the cage. Holmn landing some nice looking knees to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holmn wants to get back to striking at distance but Lesnar won't allow it.
Holmn wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Lesnar is looking to break free of the clinch but Holmn has double underhooks. Lesnar avoiding damage as Holmn throws knees to the body.
Lesnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lesnar is looking to clinch but Holmn is avoiding it.
Lesnar tries to clinch up but Holmn circles away and keeps his distance. Lesnar looks to clinch and Holmn counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Lesnar slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Lesnar avoids the head kick by Holmn.
No joy there for Holmn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lesnar shoots in but Holmn avoids the takedown attempt easily. Holmn wants to clinch and Lesnar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Holmn scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Lesnar moves out of range of the body kick. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Holmn but Holmn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sami Holmn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar . Holmn darts in trying to clinch and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Holmn won't be happy with that. Holmn wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Lesnar throwing shots but missing, from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Holmn parries the strikes from Lesnar easily there. Lesnar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Holmn to escape.
Holmn is not in a great position here, taking some shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sami Holmn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brock Lesnar 's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Lesnar thowing shots but they're missing. Lesnar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holmn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. You get the feeling that Holmn really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Holmn is trying desperately to improve position. Holmn is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Holmn is in a horrible position here. Lesnar smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
BOOM! Lesnar connects with a massive shot to the dome!
A nice elbow there by Lesnar . Lesnar throws a wild left hand from mount and Holmn manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. Lesnar is taking a breather. Holmn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lesnar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Holmn manages to escape and get back to his feet! Lesnar looks for a takedown but Holmn sprawls well. Sami Holmn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fight stays on the outside here - Lesnar looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Holmn scores with a leg kick.
Holmn keeps the fight on the outside. Lesnar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Holmn is fending him off so far but Lesnar persists. Nope, Holmn circles away and we're back to standing. Lesnar shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lesnar showed some decent athleticism there. Holmn makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Holmn tries to close the distance and clinch but Lesnar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Holmn wants to clinch. That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Holmn regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Lesnar . Lesnar wants to stand but Holmn is controlling his posture from full guard. Lesnar is working Holmn over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Holmn wants to get back to his feet but Lesnar is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lesnar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Brock Lesnar 's cut. "I don't think so" says Holmn as he avoids it easily. Holmn lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Holmn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Brock Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Holmn tries to clinch up but Lesnar circles away and keeps his distance. Lesnar gets the takedown into side control. Holmn manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Holmn is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Lesnar has managed to free his arm - good work. Lesnar pushes Holmn off looking to stand but Holmn dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Holmn circles away from the clinch attempt.

And that's the end of the fight! Sami Holmn showed his dominance in that final round. I think Holmn has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
