3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexein Rakotonandrasana! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. A combination from Rakotonandrasana does no damage. Rakotonandrasana moves in looking to clinch but Sergeev pushes him off. Rakotonandrasana misses with the combination.
Sergeev half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rakotonandrasana will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rakotonandrasana pivots and extends the arm, Sergeev falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Rakotonandrasana! Well done that man!
