The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rantanen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wright to the mat! Wright manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wright looking to hit a scissor sweep but rantanen is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wright isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. rantanen stacks Wright on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by rantanen!

Ville rantanen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Wright is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but rantanen has just dragged him back down to the mat.

rantanen decides to stand back up. rantanen steps back and let's Wright get back to his feet.
rantanen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wright as he jumps to the side.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Wright wants to escape the position.
