The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beaumont throws a leg kick which misses MacFarlane's front leg but catches the back leg as MacFarlane tries to avoid it.
MacFarlane paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Cavey Beaumont has been cut.
Beaumont connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
MacFarlane swats away the attempt to clinch by Beaumont.
Beaumont misses with a body kick.
MacFarlane scores with a kick to the body.

Beaumont cracks a nice hook into MacFarlane's ribs.

Beaumont thows a left - swing and a miss!
Beaumont swings for the body but MacFarlane moves out of range.
Beaumont thuds his right hand into MacFarlane's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beaumont uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Beaumont has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

MacFarlane looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Beaumont stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Beaumont throws a nice looking combination but MacFarlane bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Oh MacFarlane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beaumont drops MacFarlane with a straight right hand, right on the button! Beaumont follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
