Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Del Dodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Da Ruckus. Del Dodo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Out of my way. Damien Silva had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pedro Del Dodo! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in and bounces Del Dodo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Del Dodo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Del Dodo looking to control.
Silva cracks Del Dodo with a solid left hand. Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Silva stands up over Del Dodo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Silva cracks Del Dodo with a solid left hand. Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Silva postures up in Del Dodo's guard and throws a big left but Del Dodo blocks it. Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Del Dodo is trying to control the position but Silva postures up. Silva makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Del Dodo can't keep his opponent in guard - Silva advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Del Dodo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva. Silva is looking for a kimura here.
Silva is breathing heavily. Del Dodo is defending against the submission attempts here by Silva.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Del Dodo can do anything to dispel that myth. Silva is looking for a kimura but Del Dodo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage. Del Dodo trying to hold on to Silva's head to control him but Silva postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva prevents Del Dodo from improving his position. Silva trying to pass the guard but Del Dodo defending well. Silva is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Del Dodo is looking to improve his position.
Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Del Dodo defends it well. Silva landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Silva is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Del Dodo wants to control but Silva is keeping busy and won't allow it. Silva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Silva in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Del Dodo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Silva!
