Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erin Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erin Malone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cody Miller! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Malone has one foot on Miller's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Miller stuffs the takedown. Miller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Malone. Malone shoots in and drives through. Miller sprawls well. Malone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage. Malone tries to pull guard but Miller holds him up against the cage and eventually Malone drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erin Malone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Malone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. This has been an exciting period of action! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Miller. Miller fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Malone to the ground. Miller is now in Malone's guard. Miller wanted to stand there but Malone had control of the position. Malone tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller being controlled here momentarily. Malone could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Malone tries to strike from the bottom.
Malone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Malone keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Miller gets the takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malone manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Miller manages to get to full guard.
Miller is looking for a triangle but Malone pushes his legs off easily.

Malone makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Malone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Miller wants to get back to his feet but Malone is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Miller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Malone is fighting to break Miller's control of his arms but Miller is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Malone wants to stand but Miller has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Miller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller wants to stand but Malone is controlling the position. Malone stands up from Miller's guard - Malone perhaps looking for a knockout. Miller pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Malone back to the cage. Miller follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller wants to clinch up but Malone keeps it at a distance. Miller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Malone keeping hold of Miller's head, controlling as best he can. Malone tries to get to full guard but Miller has control of the leg. Miller tries to stand and escape but Malone is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Cody Miller will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Malone swats away the attempt to clinch by Miller. Malone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Malone lands in his opponent's guard. Malone with a flurry of punches that miss. Malone stands up from Miller's guard - Malone perhaps looking for a knockout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malone is not content to let Miller control the position. Miller throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Malone is holding on to half guard well. Miller is working for a submission of some sort.
Malone is controlling Miller's trapped leg to prevent Miller from advancing to side control. Miller trying to control from half guard but Malone is working away. Malone is trying to maintain the position but Miller is very close to passing his half guard. Erin Malone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Malone controlling the position for now. Miller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Miller is keen to just control but Malone is a slippery customer. Miller prevents Malone from improving his position. Malone is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard. Malone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Malone is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malone is not content to let Miller control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Erin Malone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Malone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Miller to score an easy takedown into full guard. Malone wriggles free and stands up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cody Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller tries to clinch there but Malone circles away.
Miller gets a double leg takedown into Malone's guard. Miller landing some decent shots from guard. Malone keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Malone trying to control the position.
Miller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Malone is trying to control the position but Miller postures up. Miller wanted to stand there but Malone had control of the position. Malone keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Miller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Malone works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Miller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Erin Malone will probably get the nod. That's time! Malone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller is trying to control the action in half guard but Malone is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malone controlling the position for now. Malone is staying active underneath Miller, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Miller is thwarting Malone's attempts to control the position. Miller prevents Malone from improving his position. Miller perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Miller throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Malone is controlling Miller's position as best he can from this difficult position. Malone is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Miller is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Malone preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Malone has managed to clinch.
Miller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Malone has him pressed against the cage. Malone jumps guard.
Miller wants to control from the top but Malone keeps moving. Malone trying to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller slips nicely into half guard. Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Malone keeps working. Malone desperately trying to maintain half guard. Malone is trying to maintain the position but Miller is very close to passing his half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Malone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Malone has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miller is working away from the top position though. Miller perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Miller missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Miller missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Malone controlling the position well. Miller is figuring out what he wants to do next. Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Malone keeps working. Malone works his way to full guard. Good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Miller stands and throws Malone's legs to the side, diving into side control. Malone manages to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Cody Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Miller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
