Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Takashi Hitayashi!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitayashi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Grimes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hitayashi.
Grimes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hitayashi has his takedown stuffed
and Grimes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hitayashi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Grimes pinned against the cage. Grimes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Grimes is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Rick Grimes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takashi Hitayashi.
Grimes throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hitayashi moves away from the strike by Grimes.
Grimes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hitayashi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And Hitayashi tries to counter it with a takedown but Grimes pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A jab from Grimes misses.

Hitayashi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grimes swivels and escapes.
Hitayashi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Grimes.
Hitayashi tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Grimes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Grimes displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Grimes sizes up Hitayashi with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Grimes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hitayashi.
Hitayashi changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Grimes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Grimes lunges at Hitayashi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hitayashi's hand.
Hitayashi shoots in for a double leg but Grimes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Grimes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hitayashi looks winded!
Hitayashi shoots in looking for a takedown. Grimes tries to sprawl out of it but Hitayashi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grimes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grimes misses with a straight left.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hitayashi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Grimes as he avoids it easily.
Grimes is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Hitayashi like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Hitayashi from another fist facial!
