PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brighton Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Tremaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnston kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Heart. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tremaine moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Johnston has worked his arm free - good work by Johnston!

Johnston is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tremaine asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Tremaine is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Johnston looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tremaine gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Johnston is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tremaine lets go of the hold and Johnston can pop his arm back in it's socket.
