Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Sam Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksandr Sinytsyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aleksandr Sinytsyn was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Gold! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksandr Sinytsyn! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gold fails to land with a series of punches.
Sinytsyn throws out a counter right but Gold avoids it with no problem. Sinytsyn has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gold is landing a low percentage of strikes. Gold is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sinytsyn! But no joy. Sinytsyn goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Sinytsyn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gold tries to clinch but Sinytsyn is having none of it. Sinytsyn digs a good hook to Gold's body.
Sam Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sinytsyn scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Gold to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
It looks like Sam Gold has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sinytsyn cracks Gold with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Gold is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Gold is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Gold could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Aleksandr Sinytsyn! The defeated Sam Gold had this to say: 'I'm really disappointed with myself, this shows that I need to work harder '.
