Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chris Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ados Skotarczak!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skotarczak tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wong defends well and Skotarczak ends up having to push Wong into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Wong. No joy for Skotarczak on that attempt.
Wong seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Skotarczak swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wong closes the distance and clinches up with Skotarczak, looking for a takedown. Wong pushes Skotarczak against the cage but Skotarczak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Skotarczak throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Skotarczak moves away.
Some wild striking there from Wong.
Wong fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wong takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Skotarczak avoids the head kick by Wong.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Skotarczak paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Skotarczak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Skotarczak shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wong manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Wong wants to sweep here but Skotarczak controlling him for the moment.

Wong has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Skotarczak is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wong.

Skotarczak decides to stand back up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Skotarczak lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Skotarczak throws a sloppy head kick and Wong moves out of range easily.

Wong wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Wong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Skotarczak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wong somewhat.
Wong could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Skotarczak swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Wong feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That's time! Wong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wong holds on and takes a little breather.

Good leg kick by Skotarczak there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wong wants it to stay on the feet.
Chris Wong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Skotarczak leaves Wong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Skotarczak tightens his grip and picks Wong up, before dumping him to the ground. Wong manages to land in guard.

Skotarczak throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

A close second round but Ados Skotarczak will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Wong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Skotarczak pinned against the cage. Skotarczak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
