Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Winnie Pooh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnold uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pooh.

Pooh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arnold has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pooh has managed to get both his arms back between Arnold's legs - danger averted.

Pooh seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Arnold does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pooh is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Arnold is just riding it out for now. Pooh eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pooh tries to pass the half guard into mount. Arnold knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Pooh wants to take a breather but Arnold is having none of it.
Arnold tries to get to full guard but Pooh has control of the leg.

Pooh is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Arnold sees it coming and defends easily.
Pooh is keen to just control but Arnold is a slippery customer.
Pooh wants to free his trapped foot but Arnold is holding on for dear life with his legs.

My spies in AXIS - Rio Gym inform me that Arnold has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Arnold is looking to defend but Pooh has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Arnold! Pooh pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Arnold taps out and this one is all over!
