Mcgregor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thomas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Thomas is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mcgregor asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcgregor cracks Thomas with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Mcgregor immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Thomas is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Mcgregor!
