Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Paulik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Fat by Weird Al. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roger Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tony Paulik! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Paulik counters with a left and a right that stings Nelson. Paulik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Nelson working for a triangle but Paulik defends it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nelson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Paulik postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Nelson is trying to escape the position but Paulik is controlling the position. Nelson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Paulik's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Nelson is looking for a sweep. Paulik is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nelson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Paulik's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Paulik's back!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Paulik is staying active underneath Nelson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nelson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Nelson prevents Paulik from improving his position. Nelson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Paulik doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nelson. Paulik is controlling Nelson's trapped leg to prevent Nelson from advancing to side control.
