Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jos Beton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sweeney McIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jos Beton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jos Beton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sweeney McIntyre! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beton checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. McIntyre misses the shot to the body. McIntyre has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Beton misses with a takedown and McIntyre counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Beton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McIntyre pinned against the cage. McIntyre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Good standup being displayed there by McIntyre as he connects with a hook. Beton fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jos Beton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beton shoots in for a double leg but McIntyre sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McIntyre misses with a right hand and Beton counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for McIntyre! Beton wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McIntyre, who protects the arm well. Beton has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. McIntyre is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. McIntyre is looking for a sweep. Beton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. McIntyre tries to bench press Beton off him but Beton keeps the position. Beton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Beton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Beton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Beton advances nicely into full mount. Beton working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McIntyre tries to reverse the position but Beton maintains control. Beton with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Beton tries to control but McIntyre wriggling away. McIntyre is in all sorts of trouble here.
Beton looking to control but McIntyre is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Beton working for a submission but McIntyre is keeping him at bay. Beton has control of McIntyre's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McIntyre regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Beton trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beton working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McIntyre tries to lock up and control but Beton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. McIntyre is trying to escape the mount.
Beton is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. McIntyre is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. McIntyre flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Beton anticipates the leg and manages to get behind McIntyre and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Beton slips an arm under McIntyre chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Beton has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Beton is squeezing on McIntyre like an anaconda would it's prey. McIntyre fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jos Beton! A very excited looking Jos Beton made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
