The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmagomedov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Nurmagomedov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nurmagomedov winds up and cracks Schultz with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
It looks like Octavio Schultz has been cut.
Schultz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Nurmagomedov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Schultz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Schultz has hold of Nurmagomedov's hands but Nurmagomedov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Schultz is rocked!
Nurmagomedov lands a big elbow - Schultz is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Nurmagomedov!
