Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Arn Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hell Bent! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Bent has a takedown stuffed. Bent lands a leg kick that knocks Anderson off balance momentarily. Anderson checks a leg kick. Bent shoots for a double leg takedown but Anderson sprawls well. He's pushed Bent's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Anderson jabs at Bent's body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. enabling Anderson to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Hell Bent has been cut. Bent looks winded! A telegraphed right hand from Anderson misses the target. Bent throws a hook to the side of Anderson's head but Anderson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bent gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Anderson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Arn Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hell Bent. Bent bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bent feints the counter takedown. Bent throws the left hand but Anderson avoids the punch easily. A shot to the body from Bent misses and Anderson counters with a right hand that sends Bent tumbling to the canvas! Can Anderson finish him? He dives into Bent's guard looking to do just that! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Anderson with a flurry of punches that miss. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Bent is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bent really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bent looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Anderson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bent can do anything to dispel that myth. Anderson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bent wants to control but Anderson is keeping busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bent moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Bent on the wrong end of a nice jab. Bent misses the body punch and Anderson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Anderson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Bent drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Anderson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Bent's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arn Anderson!
