Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chet Calhoun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myron Gainz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myron Gainz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chet Calhoun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Myron Gainz! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gainz jabs Calhoun to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gainz misses with a looping right. Gainz lands with a nice body punch. Calhoun shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gainz napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gainz throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Gainz misses with a looping left. Gainz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Calhoun is looking to counter punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gainz looks to land a combination but Calhoun avoids it well. Gainz comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Gainz gets caught flat footed, as Calhoun shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Calhoun controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Calhoun stops Gainz from standing up. Calhoun showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gainz is looking to stand up but Calhoun isn't so interested in that idea. Calhoun sitting in guard here, content to control. Gainz wants to stand up but Calhoun is controlling him. Calhoun controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Gainz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Calhoun is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Calhoun is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Gainz wants to get back to his feet but Calhoun is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Gainz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Gainz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Calhoun stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gainz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Calhoun is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gainz.
It looks like Chet Calhoun has been cut. Myron Gainz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice shot lands for Gainz. Gainz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Calhoun at a distance.
Gainz throws a body punch but Calhoun moves out of range. It looked like Calhoun was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Gainz scores with a jab to the body. Calhoun moves to clinch but Gainz breaks away and Gainz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gainz jabs Calhoun right on the nose. Calhoun blinks but takes it well. Gainz stalks Calhoun and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Calhoun's face. Calhoun staggers backwards, shaken.
Calhoun is rocked! Calhoun is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Gainz moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Myron Gainz! Myron Gainz tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
