Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Frey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frey keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Barbosa.
Barbosa takes one to the side of the head.
Danga de danga de dang - Frey scores with a four punch combination!
Barbosa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Frey shoots in for a double leg but Barbosa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Barbosa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Frey.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Barbosa.
Barbosa tries to stand but Frey is controlling his head.
Frey is trying to escape the position but Barbosa is controlling the position.
Barbosa trying to control the action but Frey is working from the bottom.

Barbosa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Frey tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barbosa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Frey stops Barbosa from passing to mount.
Barbosa is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Frey will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Frey is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The strikes coming from Barbosa are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Barbosa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frey keeps working.
Barbosa lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Frey down.
You can see the frustration on Frey's face as Barbosa controls the position.
Barbosa's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Barbosa tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Barbosa trying to control the position but Frey is working away.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Frey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barbosa swivels and escapes.
Paulo Barbosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abel Frey.
Barbosa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Frey to the mat! Frey manages to get full guard.
Frey wants to get back to his feet but Barbosa passes into half guard.
Barbosa wants to stand up but Frey has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Barbosa moves into full mount! Frey won't be happy about that!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Frey's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Barbosa looking to secure an arm triangle but Frey defends it well.
Frey is looking to improve his position but Barbosa isn't that keen on the idea.
Barbosa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Frey is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Barbosa locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Frey is forced to tap!
