Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yagami scores with a kick to the midsection.
A head kick misses from Yagami.
A head kick lands from Yagami that sends Konrad to the canvas. Konrad tries to scramble back to his feet but Yagami brings him back down into side control.
It looks like Monty Konrad has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Konrad wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Konrad is not content to let Yagami control the position.
Yagami misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Konrad has hold of Yagami's hands but Yagami slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Konrad tries for a takedown but Yagami sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Yagami throws a sloppy head kick and Konrad moves out of range easily.
Konrad shoots in but Yagami avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Konrad takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Yagami throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yagami stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monty Konrad. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Konrad is breathing heavily.
Konrad shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Yagami drops Konrad with a straight right hand, right on the button! Yagami follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
