Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Hatayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Pasquale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatayama comes into the arena with Samurai Soul blaring out of the sound system. Pasquale is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fight Like A Brave. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leon Pasquale!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatayama throws out a powerful jab.
Pasquale tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hatayama swivels and escapes.
No joy there for Hatayama, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pasquale ducks right into an uppercut from Hatayama.
Hiroshi Hatayama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Hatayama as Pasquale shoots in.
Hatayama looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hatayama throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hatayama scores with a punch to the head.
Pasquale shoots in for a double leg but Hatayama sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hiroshi Hatayama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Pasquale.
Hatayama scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Hatayama jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pasquale fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pasquale.
A jab from Hatayama finds it's way through Pasquale's defenses.

Hatayama fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pasquale.
Hatayama lands a really nice looking cross but Pasquale seems unphased.
Hatayama is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
A jab from Hatayama does it's job there.
Pasquale is rocked!

Pasquale keeps the fight on the outside.
Pasquale shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hatayama throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pasquale stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pasquale fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hatayama throws a quick inside leg kick.
A lazy left from Hatayama finds it's target.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hatayama darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Pasquale is still on wobbly legs! Can Hatayama finish him?
Hatayama drops Pasquale with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pasquale! Hatayama dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
