Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Piston Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tokugawa Ieyasu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Piston Honda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tokugawa Ieyasu! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ieyasu throws a right hand that Honda ducks under and follows up with a left that Honda also avoids with ease. Honda swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ieyasu.
It looks like Tokugawa Ieyasu has been cut. Ieyasu clinches up against the ropes. Ieyasu is looking to break free of the clinch but Honda has double underhooks. Honda wants to break the clinch but can't.
Honda wants to get back to striking at distance but Ieyasu won't allow it.
Honda is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Ieyasu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Honda wants to break free but Ieyasu has control.
Ieyasu is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Honda pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ieyasu gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Honda.
Honda wants the takedown. Ieyasu is fighting it off but Honda persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ieyasu's guard against the ropes. Ieyasu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Honda wanted to stand there but Ieyasu had control of the position. Ieyasu manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ieyasu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Honda is looking to escape. Honda really wants to buck Ieyasu off and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Honda bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Honda throws and elbow that misses. Ieyasu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Honda's guard. Nice move by Ieyasu! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ieyasu postures up in Honda's guard and throws a big left but Honda blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Honda wants to get back to his feet but Ieyasu passes into half guard.
Honda is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Honda is trying to control but Ieyasu manages to pass to mount!
Ieyasu trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piston Honda dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tokugawa Ieyasu's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Honda has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ieyasu is trying to break free. Ieyasu digs a right hand underneath Honda's ribcage. Honda let out a lung full of air as it connected. Honda breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Honda fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ieyasu throws a right hand that Honda ducks under and follows up with a left that Honda also avoids with ease. Ieyasu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Honda. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Honda throws a right and a left that both miss. Honda avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Honda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Honda looks to score with a jab to the body but Ieyasu is just out of range. Honda swinging wilding here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ieyasu closes the distance and clinches. Ieyasu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Honda lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ieyasu circles away quickly and effectively. Honda avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ieyasu closes the distance looking to clinch and Honda counters with a big head kick but Ieyasu shrugs it off. Piston Honda is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Honda throws a head kick but Ieyasu moves out of range.
Honda will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ieyasu tries to bum rush Honda with a series of wild strikes but Honda uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ieyasu fails to land with a series of punches.
Piston Honda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Honda is looking to clinch. Ieyasu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Honda tries to keep at a distance but Ieyasu has taken the fight into the clinch. Honda breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Honda throws a combination that misses and Ieyasu counters with a nice body shot. Ieyasu avoids the head kick by Honda.
Ieyasu tries to clinch but Honda is having none of it. Honda tries a low kick but Ieyasu avoids it. Honda swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ieyasu counters with a two punch combo. Ieyasu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Honda throws a right hand that Ieyasu ducks under and follows up with a left that Ieyasu also avoids with ease. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Honda lands with a thumping leg kick.

Ieyasu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ieyasu has his takedown stuffed and Honda counters with a head kick. Ieyasu tries to clinch up. Ieyasu moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. A punch combination from Ieyasu misses. Honda misses with a combination
and Ieyasu counters with an outside leg kick.

Honda tries to clinch up and Ieyasu counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Honda stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ieyasu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Honda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Honda shoots and misses and Ieyasu counters with a leg kick. Honda misses with a low kick. Ieyasu lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Honda backs up against the ropes.
Honda throws the left hand but Ieyasu avoids the punch easily. Ieyasu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ieyasu lands a jab-cross combination. Honda tries to bum rush Ieyasu with a series of wild strikes but Ieyasu uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ieyasu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Honda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Ieyasu paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ieyasu misses with a head kick.

Tokugawa Ieyasu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tokugawa Ieyasu's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Ieyasu throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Honda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ieyasu as he jumps to the side. Honda blocks a head kick by Ieyasu.

and Ieyasu counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Ieyasu is keen to just control but Honda is a slippery customer. Ieyasu keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ieyasu is looking to take a break and control but Honda is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ieyasu takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Honda tries to kick Ieyasu off but Ieyasu keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Honda punching from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Honda throws a head kick that misses and Ieyasu counters with a lovely shot to the body. Tokugawa Ieyasu seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ieyasu fails to land the takedown. Honda avoids the head kick by Ieyasu.
Honda closes the distance but Ieyasu moves to the side and Ieyasu holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Honda keeps control of Ieyasu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Honda makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Ieyasu presses Honda against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Honda escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Honda has his takedown stuffed and Ieyasu counters with a body kick. Ieyasu jabs at Honda's body. Honda gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ieyasu counters with a straight punch to the midsection. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Piston Honda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ieyasu lands a two punch combo.
A telegraphed right hand from Honda misses the target. Ieyasu is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Honda rather than just go for the knockout. Some wild striking there from Ieyasu.
Honda throws a lazy head kick and Ieyasu counters with a left and a right that stings Honda. Ieyasu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Honda. Honda misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ieyasu.
Ieyasu jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

and Ieyasu counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Honda pushes Ieyasu off looking to stand but Ieyasu dives back in and keeps control.
Honda is staying active underneath Ieyasu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ieyasu's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Ieyasu decides to stand up.
And that's the end of the fight! Tokugawa Ieyasu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ieyasu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
