Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
46 - 35 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boris Kharitonov! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kharitonov tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kharitonov misses with a double jab.
Kharitonov throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Steel.
It looks like Freddy Steel has been cut. Kharitonov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kharitonov moves into the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Kharitonov fails to land. Steel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Some wild striking there from Steel.
It seemed like Kharitonov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kharitonov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Steel sees it coming and avoids it easily. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kharitonov fails to land with a series of punches.
Steel is looking for a counter combo. Kharitonov tries to clinch there but Steel circles away.
It looked like Steel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Steel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Steel attempts a counter takedown but Kharitonov avoids it well and moves away. A left lands for Steel.
It looks like Boris Kharitonov has been cut. Steel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kharitonov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Steel blocks the body kick.
Kharitonov throws an off balance right hand
and Steel counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Kharitonov looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kharitonov wants to clinch. Steel dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kharitonov. That did some damage! Steel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A solid leg kick lands there for Steel.
Kharitonov tries to clinch up but Steel circles away and keeps his distance. Steel appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kharitonov wants to clinch up but Steel keeps it at a distance. Steel was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Steel throws a nice inside leg kick. Kharitonov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steel moves away. Kharitonov misses the body punch and Steel counters with an outside leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Steel.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Steel, right into the meat.
An inside leg kick lands from Steel. Boris Kharitonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steel connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Kharitonov covering up! Steel comes in with a big uppercut and Kharitonov goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
