0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Clausen! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! TupperII looks to land a combination but Clausen avoids it well. Clausen moves to clinch but TupperII breaks away and TupperII counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Clausen moves into the clinch. TupperII has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Clausen regains guard immediately. Clausen working for a triangle but TupperII defends it easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells TupperII's corner. There ya go! There ya go! TupperII trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. TupperII wants to stand and escape but instead Clausen has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Clausen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. TupperII closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Clausen quickly recovers to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. TupperII wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clausen keeps working. TupperII seems to be looking for submissions.
TupperII is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Clausen defends it well. TupperII prevents Clausen from improving his position. Clausen is defending against the submission attempts here by TupperII.
TupperII is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Clausen has managed to free his arm - good work. TupperII trying to pass the guard but Clausen defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. TupperII is working for a kimura but Clausen is defending it quite comfortably.
Clausen wants to control but TupperII is keeping busy.
Clausen wants to get back to his feet. TupperII looks to score some points with some ground and pound. TupperII is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Clausen is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
