Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Crushman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenta Yuudai! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crushman bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Yuudai's head.
It looks like Kenta Yuudai has been cut. That kick from Crushman tenderised Yuudai's leg. Yuudai is trying to keep his angry face on. We've been hearing reports that Crushman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Yuudai misses with a looping right. Crushman scores with a jab to the body. Yuudai takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fighters circling - Yuudai throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Yuudai throws a right and a left that Crushman avoids nicely. Crushman catches Yuudai with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Yuudai jabbing away but nothing is landing. Yuudai misses with the combination.
Crushman lands a glancing blow to the side of Yuudai's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crushman defending well as Yuudai loads up on a big left hand. Yuudai thows a left - swing and a miss! Crushman cracks Yuudai with a big right hand and Yuudai goes down!
Yuudai is rocked! Crushman showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Yuudai is still in real trouble! Can Crushman finish him? Crushman passes Yuudai's left leg - he's now in half guard. Yuudai wants to get back to full guard. Yuudai seems to have recovered his senses. Crushman is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yuudai is trying to stand back up but Crushman is controlling him
Yuudai is trying to get back to full guard. Crushman trying to control the pace. Yuudai holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crushman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Crushman wants to work for an arm triangle but Yuudai is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Yuudai wants to get back to his feet. Crushman is looking for a kimura here.
Crushman wants to pass to mount but Yuudai is defending the position. Crushman blocks the strikes from Yuudai.
Crushman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Yuudai works his way to full guard. Good work.

Crushman controls from within his opponent's guard. Crushman trying to control but Yuudai is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A jab from Yuudai misses. Crushman fires out a quick counter leg kick but Yuudai just manages to avoid it. Jab, jab by Yuudai - just one landing.
It looks like Daniel Crushman has been cut. Yuudai waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Crushman. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Crushman to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Yuudai not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Crushman keeping moving, preventing Yuudai from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yuudai might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Crushman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yuudai stands up over Crushman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Crushman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yuudai wants to control from the top but Crushman keeps moving. Yuudai lands a couple of digs. Yuudai trying to control but Crushman is working from the bottom. Yuudai throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Yuudai postures up in Crushman's guard and throws a big left but Crushman blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Crushman will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Crushman misses the jab. Yuudai dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Crushman walks into a jab. Yuudai keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Crushman. Oh, that's a big right hand from Yuudai and Crushman goes tumbling to the canvas! Yuudai follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Crushman is rocked!
Daniel Crushman's cut is getting worse. This has been an exciting period of action! Yuudai is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Oh Crushman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Yuudai scores with a big shot! Crushman's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Crushman! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenta Yuudai! Kenta Yuudai tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
