Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vaughn Noel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Miller! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Noel. Miller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Noel counters with a two punch combo. Miller throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Horrible takedown attempt by Noel or perhaps it was just good defense by Miller, which made it look bad. As Noel backs off Miller throws a huge counter combo but Noel manages to avoid it all. Miller lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Vaughn Noel has been cut. Noel with a lazy takedown attempt and Miller counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Miller stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Miller wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vaughn Noel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Noel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miller as he avoids it easily. Ivan Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller lands a nice looking body shot.

Noel pulls guard effortlessly. Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Noel swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miller pushes down on Noel's leg and manages to get into half guard. Miller moves into full mount! Noel won't be happy about that! Miller moves to his opponent's back but Noel bucks him off and ends up in guard. A bit of a disaster there for Miller. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Noel throwing strikes from guard but Miller blocks nicely.

Noel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miller has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Noel has managed to get both his arms back between Miller's legs - danger averted. Noel working some strikes from top position. Noel is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Miller. That's two minutes gone in the round. Noel lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

I really don't envy Miller right now.

Noel lands with a hammerfist to the side of Miller's head. Noel is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Miller defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Miller rolls, trying to escape but Noel keeps control of the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vaughn Noel dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Vaughn Noel's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Noel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Noel off to one side. Miller uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Noel has time to react. Noel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Miller throws a right and a left that both miss. Noel lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Noel tries to clinch there but Miller circles away.

Miller is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Noel moves away from the strike by Miller. Miller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Miller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Noel. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vaughn Noel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller rushes Noel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Noel is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Vaughn Noel. Miller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Noel circles away quickly and effectively. Noel swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Noel has a takedown stuffed. Noel gets the takedown into side control. Miller tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Noel wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Miller gets back to half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Noel lands a nice short elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Miller looking for submissions off his back. Miller is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Noel pulls his head out easily. Miller looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Noel scoring with strikes to the body and head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
