Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Glass Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramses Xll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xll has chosen Nile - Kafir! as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Glass Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramses Xll! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Xll misses with a body kick. Danga de danga de dang - Xll scores with a four punch combination! Joe fails with a takedown attempt. A telegraphed right hand from Xll misses the target. Joe looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Xll stuns Joe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Xll fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Joe manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A cross from Xll lands. Nice uppercut lands for Joe. That snapped Xll's head back.
Joe shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Xll to counter with a crisp jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Joe missing with a left hand there. Xll was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Xll flicks out a counter leg kick but Joe steps away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe shoots and misses enabling Xll to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glass Joe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Xll manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Joe has a takedown stuffed. Xll replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Joe blocks it well. Joe clinches up with Xll and pushes him back against the cage. Joe jumps guard but Xll stands there with Joe around his waist. Joe gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Xll scores with an uppercut up the middle. Joe looking to slow down the pace here. Joe blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Joe tries to pull guard but Xll holds him up against the cage and eventually Joe drops back down to his feet.

Joe throws a head punch that misses. Joe drags the fight down to the ground.
Joe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xll wanted to stand there but Joe had control of the position. Xll preventing the sweep. Xll works a leg free and moves into half guard. Xll wants to control but Joe is keeping him busy. Xll looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Xll thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Joe's head. The fighters are battling for position here. Joe manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Joe is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Xll's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Xll throws a big right hand that misses. Joe seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Xll wants to control from the top but Joe keeps moving. Joe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Joe throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Xll felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Xll wants to get back to his feet. Joe content to control rather than advance. Joe slips a nice elbow through Xll's hands, connecting with Xll's forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joe is trying to work for a kimura but Xll is defending well.
Joe working over Xll with some ground and pound. Xll looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Xll moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Joe lands a couple of digs. Joe won't allow Xll to get back to his feet. Xll had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Joe defends it easily. Joe is looking to work some ground and pound but Xll has wrist control. Joe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Joe lands a couple of decent looking shots. Joe postures up and lands a big shot to Xll's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramses Xll dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Joe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Joe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Joe winds up and cracks Xll with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Xll wants to control but Joe is keeping busy and won't allow it. Joe thows a huge punch but Xll dodges it nicely.
Joe is nestled in close to Xll, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Xll avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Joe. Joe scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Xll is trying to control but can't.
Joe is looking to advance position but Xll won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xll wants to get back to his feet. Xll is staying active underneath Joe, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Xll trying to control from the bottom.
Xll gets back to full guard.
Joe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Xll looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Joe is in close to Xll's body, working some short punches and elbows. Joe working some strikes from top position. Joe scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Xll looking for a sweep. Not yet Xll, not yet. Joe landing with the ground and pound. Xll wants to stand up but Joe is controlling him. Joe is in close to Xll's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Xll is rocked! Xll working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Joe. Joe gets to his feet and stands over Xll, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Xll felt that one! Joe unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Xll from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glass Joe! In his post fight interview, Glass Joe started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
