Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Constantino Carizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carizzo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. WHY CAN'T WE BE FRIENDS kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Johnny Bravo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnny Bravo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Constantino Carizzo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carizzo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bravo.
Carizzo fails with a takedown attempt. Bravo digs a good body shot into Carizzo's ribs. We've been informed that Carizzo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Bravo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Carizzo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Carizzo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bravo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carizzo on the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bravo lands with a good body shot. Bravo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Carizzo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bravo's waist but Bravo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carizzo off to one side. Johnny Bravo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Constantino Carizzo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo with a body punch. A glancing blow. Bravo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carizzo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bravo defends well and Carizzo ends up having to push Bravo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bravo stuffs the takedown. A little feinted left hand from Bravo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Bravo lands a right hook to the body.
Carizzo looks winded! Bravo throws a body shot but no joy. Carizzo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Bravo scores with a body shot.
Bravo ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Bravo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bravo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carizzo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Carizzo takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bravo with a body punch. A glancing blow. Bravo is looking to wear down Carizzo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Bravo scores with a sloppy right hand. Carizzo should have avoided that one.
It looks like Constantino Carizzo has been cut. Bravo cracks Carizzo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bravo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Carizzo to stand back up!
Carizzo is rocked! Bravo lands a brutal uppercut that launches Carizzo off his feet! Carizzo tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Bravo! Johnny Bravo retains his middleweight title! After winning the bout, Johnny Bravo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
