PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Schmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivaylo Stoimenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoimenov has chosen The Game - 100 ft. Drake as his entrance music. Ivaylo Stoimenov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoimenov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stoimenov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Schmo backs up against the cage.

It looks like Joe Schmo has been cut.
Schmo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stoimenov.
Stoimenov throws out a counter right but Schmo avoids it with no problem.
Schmo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Harambe Remembrance Hall in the buildup to the fight.
Stoimenov swings for the body but Schmo moves out of range.

Schmo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stoimenov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Schmo scrambles back to his feet.
Schmo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stoimenov.
Stoimenov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Schmo has time to react.
Schmo throws out a loose jab but Stoimenov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Schmo dives in for a single leg takedown but Stoimenov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A little jabbing left from Stoimenov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ivaylo Stoimenov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stoimenov lands a really nice looking cross but Schmo seems unphased.
Stoimenov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schmo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Schmo takes a swing at Stoimenov's ribcage but misses.
Stoimenov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Stoimenov scores with the left hand. Schmo knows he should have avoided that one.
Schmo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Horrible takedown attempt by Schmo or perhaps it was just good defense by Stoimenov, which made it look bad.

Stoimenov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Schmos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
