And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Landings!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Song lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Song throws a hook but Landings blocks it.
Landings throws a head kick but Song moves out of range.
Landings looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Landings throws a lazy uppercut
and Song counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Good shot there by Song.
Song ducks right into an uppercut from Landings.


It looks like Min-Sik Song has been cut.
Landings darts in looking for a takedown but Song gets double underhooks and turns Landings into the cage.

Landings moves into the clinch.
Landings slows down the pace here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Song lands a nice uppercut.
Song tries a body shot but Landings blocks it.
Song lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Landings is looking to regain half guard here but Song keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Landings manages to work his way to half guard, despite Song's best efforts.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Landings wants to control but Song is keeping busy.

Landings has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Song is working away from the top position though.
Song is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Song seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Landings looking for a sweep but Song has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Landings manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Song is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Landings can do to turn this around?
Landings throws a push kick but Song slaps the foot to one side.
Landings throws a looping overhand right but Song ducks down to avoid it.
Song lands a slapping body shot.

Song closes the distance and pushes Landings back into the cage.
Song lands an uppercut.
Song scores with a nice hook to the head.
Landings is trying to drag Song to the mat but Song just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Landings swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Song tries to throw a body punch but Landings avoids it by throwing Song back against the cage.
Song lands a right hand that snaps the head of Landings backwards.
Song makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Landings breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Song scores with a shot to the body.
Landings walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Landings gets a clinch.
Song tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Landings's elbow.
Song throws a punch but it's blocked by Landings.
Song swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Song digs a right hand underneath Landings's ribcage. Landings let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Song swings wildly with an uppercut but Landings uses good head movement to avoid it.

Song just leaning against Landings, taking a breather.
Nice body punch from Song - that landed with a thud.
Song lands a right hand.
Song lands with a right to the head.
Landings is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Song misses with the head strike.

Song scores with a nice hook to the head.

Song unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Landings! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Song is unloading with more strikes now! Landings drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Min-Sik Song!
