Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Otis Amber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heisus Alantra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heisus Alantra looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amber feints and as Alantra raises his hands in defense, Amber changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Alantra had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Amber is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Alantra Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Amber's back instead.
Amber is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Amber staying busy and making it hard for Alantra to control.
Amber is trying to stand back up.
Alantra is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Amber has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Alantra looks gassed!
Amber controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Amber has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Alantra is proving hard to escape from.

Alantra missing with a left hand there. Amber was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Amber.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Alantra fails with an attempt to clinch.
Alantra throws a nice looking combination but Amber bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Alantra gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Alantra is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Alantra looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Amber wants to stand but Alantra is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Amber escapes and gets back to his feet.
Amber closes the distance and clinches up with Alantra, looking for a takedown. Amber pushes Alantra against the cage but Alantra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Amber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Amber shoots in for a double leg but Alantra sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Amber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alantra tries to avoid it but Amber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alantra to the ground. Alantra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Alantra looks to land a combination but Amber avoids it well.
Amber shoots in and drives through. Alantra sprawls well.
Amber keeps the fight on the outside.
Amber swats away the attempt to clinch by Alantra.
No luck for Amber with that takedown attempt.

Alantra throws a series of punches but Amber avoids them all with ease.

Alantra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Amber paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Amber will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Amber has a takedown stuffed.
Amber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Alantra as he avoids it easily.
Amber circles away from the clinch attempt.
Amber shoots in but no luck this time.

Alantra feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Alantra shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Alantra was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Alantra moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Amber has worked his arm free - good work by Amber!
Alantra is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Amber has escaped the position, nice work there.
Alantra tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Alantra has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Amber is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Alantra asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Alantra looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amber is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Alantra is controlling him well.
Amber trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Alantra is trying to get an arm triangle but Amber is defending well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Amber scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Amber wants to stand but Alantra has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Alantra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Amber gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Amber bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Alantra tries to bench press Amber off him but Amber keeps the position.
Alantra is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Amber has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Amber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Amber stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Amber drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Amber gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Amber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alantra's waist but Alantra gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amber off to one side.
Amber shoots for a double leg takedown but Alantra sprawls well. He's pushed Amber's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alantra closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alantra lands in his opponent's guard.
Alantra drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Amber manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alantra has Amber in his guard.
Amber avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Amber wants to get up but he can't break Alantra's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alantra is on top in guard.
Alantra drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Amber dives on top into guard.
Amber wants to stand but Alantra has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Alantra looking for a guillotine here but Amber defends easily.

Amber tries to stand but Alantra is controlling from the bottom.
Alantra isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Amber stacks Alantra on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Amber!
Amber stands up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Amber changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alantra looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Alantra tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Amber wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight!
Otis Amber showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Amber, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
