Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Simba Qlf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rocci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qlf dives in and grabs Rocci's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rocci pushes down on Qlf's head and hops out.
Rocci swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Qlf pushes Rocci up against the cage in a clinch.

Qlf breaks from the clinch.
Qlf tries to move into range but Rocci moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Qlf's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Qlf duly obliges.

Rocci closes the distance and pushes Qlf back into the cage.
Nice elbow from Rocci.
Rocci tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Qlf avoids it.
Rocci keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Qlf's efforts to push away.
Rocci lands a right hand.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rocci.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Qlf tries to stall but Rocci uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Rocci moves into the clinch.
Oh Qlf is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rocci jerks Qlf's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Qlf drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Rocci goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Rocci because Qlf was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
