Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Hoyo finds it's way through Smith's defenses.
Hoyo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hoyo throws a series of strikes that have Smith backpedaling.
Hoyo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Smith is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Smith fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hoyo on the side of the head.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Smith, right into the meat.
Hoyo scores with a nice head shot.
Smith is rocked!
Hoyo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the cage.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoyo lands a shoulder strike.
Good body shot from Hoyo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith is trying to push Hoyo away but Hoyo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hoyo lands a nice shot to the body.
Hoyo lands a body shot in the clinch.
Hoyo lands a hook that snaps the head of Smith backwards.
Hoyo lands a right hand.
Hoyo creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Smith's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Smith drops to his knees and Hoyo pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Froyo Hoyo!
