Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darren Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dany Wag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dany Wag was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darren Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dany Wag! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns closes the distance and clinches. A short right from Burns. Burns lands with a short shot to the head. Our sources have told us that Burns has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Burns is pressed up against the cage. Wag has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Burns down to the mat. Burns avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wag misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Burns throws a big counter combination but Wag scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Wag swats away the attempt to clinch by Burns. Burns avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wag closes the distance and clinches up with Burns, looking for a takedown. Wag pushes Burns against the cage but Burns circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Burns wants to clinch. A left lands for Wag. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burns forces Wag back against the cage and clinches. Burns has a couple of punches blocked by Wag.
Burns lands with a left to the head. Wag wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Burns is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Wag is defending well for now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burns gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wag.

Burns pushes Wag back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Burns lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A nice right hand lands inside from Burns. Burns misses with a punch to the body.

Burns tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wag's elbow. Wag is trying to pull guard but Burns has him pressed against the cage. Burns gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Burns presses Wag against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Still in the clinch, Burns scores with a nice short uppercut. Burns doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Burns scores with a shot to the side of Wag's head. Burns throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wags head. Wag has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Burns seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Wag can turn it around. Burns lands an elbow that stopped Wag in his tracks for a moment. Wag is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Burns pulls him back up using the underhooks. Wag has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Burns regains guard immediately. Wag won't allow Burns to get back to his feet.

Wag keeps the fight on the outside. Burns wants to clinch up but Wag keeps it at a distance. Burns walks into a stiff left hand from Wag. Burns gets in close and instigates a clinch. Burns lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Wag or not. Wag blocks the elbow strike.
Wag has Burns pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Burns manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Burns with a knee to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns lands a nice knee to the body. Burns creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Wag's defenses. Burns lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Burns lands a hook to the side of the head. Burns misses with a body punch.

Burns lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wag backwards. A quick uppercut on the inside from Burns. Burns unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Wag! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Burns is unloading with more strikes now! Wag drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
