Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fran Einhorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fran Einhorn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Foster! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Einhorn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Einhorn closes the distance and pushes Foster back into the cage. Einhorn keeps control of Foster as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Einhorn is pressed up against the cage. Foster has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Einhorn down to the mat. Einhorn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Foster looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Foster loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Einhorn looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foster scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Foster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Einhorn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Einhorn looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Foster is working Einhorn over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Foster's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Foster avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Einhorn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Foster can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Einhorn is breathing heavily. Einhorn had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Foster is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Einhorn Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Foster's back instead. Foster trying to control the position but Einhorn manages to sink in the hooks. You can see the frustration on Foster's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Einhorn somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Foster trying to control but not successfully. Foster is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Einhorn working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Einhorn is hanging on to Foster's back as he tries to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Foster is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Einhorn is trying to stick to Foster's back but Foster is turning into Einhorn. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Einhorn's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Foster. Foster content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Einhorn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Foster gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Foster lands a couple of decent looking shots. Einhorn is looking for a triangle but Foster pushes his legs off easily.
Foster working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Foster would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Foster working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Einhorn's head. Foster trying to control the position from guard on top but Einhorn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Einhorn is looking for a triangle but Foster pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Foster wants to control from the top but Einhorn keeps moving. Foster must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Foster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Einhorn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Foster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Einhorn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A telegraphed right hand from Foster misses the target. Foster avoids the head kick by Einhorn.
Foster closes the distance and clinches up with Einhorn, looking for a takedown. Foster pushes Einhorn against the cage but Einhorn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Einhorn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Einhorn tries for a takedown but Foster circles away easily and Foster counters with a lovely straight right hand! Foster throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foster lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Einhorn is rocked! A big right followed by a crushing left from Foster knocks Einhorn out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Foster!
