Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darius Outlaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddie Mercury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Darius Outlaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddie Mercury! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Outlaw misses the target. No joy there for Outlaw, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Outlaw jabbing away but nothing is landing. Outlaw throws a big shot that misses. Nice body punch from Mercury. Mercury misses with a body kick. Mercury takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Outlaw throws a looping overhand right but Mercury ducks down to avoid it. Mercury scores a takedown into full mount! Mercury won't let Outlaw get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Mercury is working for a guillotine from mount but Outlaw frees his head quite easily.
Mercury has hold of Outlaw's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Outlaw manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mercury controlling the pace for now. Outlaw wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Outlaw is breathing heavily. Mercury stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Outlaw misses with a few strikes there.
Mercury decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mercury decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Mercury. Mercury wants to lay and pray for a moment but Outlaw keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Outlaw is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mercury asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mercury tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Outlaw bucks up and tries to throw Mercury off but instead Mercury has got his back! Outlaw wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mercury is looking to control Outlaw but Outlaw is wriggling around and keeping busy. Mercury thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Mercury wants to control but Outlaw is keeping busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddie Mercury dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mercury doesn't manage to clinch there - Outlaw circles away.
Mercury slips under a jab. Outlaw scores with a nice head shot. Outlaw lands with a right hand. Mercury avoids the body shot from Outlaw.
Mercury on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Outlaw lands with a nice combination. Mercury backs away looking to recover. Mercury throws a head kick but Outlaw moves out of range.
Mercury tries for a takedown but Outlaw sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Outlaw fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A slow jab from Outlaw misses its intended target. Mercury throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Outlaw throws a combination that misses and Mercury counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mercury trying to mount his opponent but Outlaw defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Outlaw tries to kick Mercury off but Mercury keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Outlaw kicks off Mercury and gets to his feet. Outlaw connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Mercury walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Outlaw scores with a jab. Darius Outlaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mercury works over Outlaw's head and body with a nice combination. Mercury wants to clinch. Good standup being displayed there by Outlaw as he connects with a hook. Outlaw scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mercury moves out of range of the strikes. Mercury slips a straight right by Outlaw. Mercury closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Outlaw knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mercury on the ground. Outlaw is trying to stand back up but Mercury is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mercury stops Outlaw from getting back to his feet.
Mercury wants to free his trapped foot but Outlaw is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mercury stops Outlaw from getting back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A nice inside leg kick there by Mercury. That's going to slow Outlaw down. Mercury shoots in for a takedown but Outlaw shows good takedown defense. Darius Outlaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddie Mercury. Mercury tries to clinch but Outlaw moves out of range. Mercury walks into a left hand. Outlaw takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Mercury lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Outlaw circles away quickly and effectively. Outlaw on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

A little nod from Mercury there as he acknowledges the shot. Darius Outlaw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Outlaw blocks a head kick by Mercury.
Outlaw connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mercury momentarily.
Outlaw with a jab. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Outlaw, as that shot connected.
Nice defenses there by Mercury. Mercury wants to clinch. Mercury showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Outlaw.
Outlaw lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. A decent looking cross lands there for Outlaw. Mercury takes a body punch but keeps moving. Outlaw misses with a combination
and Mercury counters with a shoot takedown. Outlaw fights it but they end up in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mercury would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddie Mercury showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Danga de danga de dang - Outlaw scores with a four punch combination! Mercury forces Outlaw back against the cage and clinches. Mercury has clasped his hands together around Outlaw's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Mercury decides to stand up, so the ref orders Outlaw to his feet. Outlaw misses with a series of wild punches.
Outlaw is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mercury. Mercury doesn't manage to clinch there - Outlaw circles away.
Outlaw throws a series of punches but Mercury moves out of range. Mercury shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mercury wants to pass the guard but Outlaw is keeping the position. Outlaw wants to get back to his feet but Mercury is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mercury gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Mercury connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Outlaw looks to land a combination. Mercury sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Outlaw throws a low kick, looking for Mercury's leg but Mercury calmly moves out of range. Outlaw throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mercury sees it coming and avoids it easily. Outlaw throws a hook but Mercury avoids it easily. Outlaw uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Outlaw swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Outlaw lands the left hand. Outlaw scores with a jab to the jaw. Mercury doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Mercury has Outlaw up against the cage in a clinch.
Mercury breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Outlaw goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Outlaw clobbers Mercury with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Outlaw with a body punch. A glancing blow. Mercury shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mercury darts in and clinches Outlaw up against the cage. Mercury tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Outlaw just stands there and leans against the cage. Mercury pulls Outlaw into guard.
Outlaw is looking to stand up but Mercury won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Outlaw avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Outlaw wants to stand but Mercury is controlling his posture from full guard. Freddie Mercury has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Outlaw gets to his feet - Mercury follows without any prompting. Darius Outlaw has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Outlaw lands a jab-cross combination. Outlaw misses with a series of wild punches.
Mercury shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Outlaw throwing hammer fists to the chest of Mercury. What's that going to do exactly? Outlaw swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Freddie Mercury is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mercury lands a big shot there that rocks Outlaw but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Freddie Mercury comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mercury winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
