Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Arron Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller lands with a nice body kick.

Jenkins rushes Keller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jenkins wants the takedown. Keller is fighting it off but Jenkins persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Keller's guard against the cage.

Keller kicks Jenkins off and gets to his feet.

Jenkins fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Keller to the ground. Jenkins is now in Keller's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Keller keeping full guard, as Jenkins tries to pass.

Keller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenkins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Keller is looking for a triangle but Jenkins pushes his legs off easily.
Jenkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Keller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jenkins lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Keller has his foot on Jenkins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jenkins works his way back into a safe position though.
Jenkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Keller keeping moving, preventing Jenkins from controlling successfully.
Jenkins distracts Keller with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jenkins working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Keller's head.
Keller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Keller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jenkins defends well.

Jenkins stands up over Keller, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Keller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jenkins looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jenkins landing some decent shots from guard.


Keller is rocked!
Jenkins looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Oh Keller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jenkins gets to his feet and stands over Keller, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Keller felt that one! Jenkins unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Keller from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Jenkins!
