and Rolla counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

O Carroll fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rolla looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

O Carroll walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Rolla throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rolla throws a lazy uppercut
and O Carroll cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and O Carroll counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Rolla off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - O Carroll follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Rolla was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Domnall O Carroll!
In his post fight interview, Domnall O Carroll started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
