Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Demetrius Tektas!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cooper clinches up with Tektas and pushes him back against the cage.
Tektas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cooper gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Cooper breaks from the clinch.
Tektas throws a looping overhand right but Cooper ducks down to avoid it.

Cooper closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Tektas pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Cooper blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Cooper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cooper throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Tektas counters with a takedown into side control.
Tektas is looking to take a break and control but Cooper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cooper tries to escape but Tektas is in control.
Tektas in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Tektas is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cooper will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Tektas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tektas has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Cooper!

Cooper is trying to stand.
Tektas has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cooper's face.
Tektas wants to control the pace but Cooper is squirming around nicely.
Tektas looking to finish Cooper with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cooper!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cooper trying desperately to get to his feet.
Cooper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tektas on the ground.
Tektas controlling from mount.

Tektas working for a submission but Cooper is keeping him at bay.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee warns Cooper that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Cooper wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Tektas has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Cooper taps furiously! This one is all over!
