The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Botak misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Arep Botak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Botak drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Botak shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Johnson with a hook. Botak with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Johnson to score with a decent uppercut. Botak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arep Botak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson cracks Botak with a good jab. Johnson avoids the body shot from Botak.
Johnson throws a combination. Botak tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Botak fails with the takedown. Botak on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Botak on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Johnson. Johnson obviously looking to wear him down.
Botak is breathing heavily. Botak takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Botak fails with a takedown attempt. Johnson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Good shot there by Johnson. Johnson lands a jab to the head.
Botak looks to land a body kick but Johnson moved away. Botak takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Ted Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson lands a nice looking body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Botak looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jab, jab by Johnson - just one landing.
Botak is rocked! Johnson lands a brutal uppercut that launches Botak off his feet! Botak tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
