Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buford Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robson McGrace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buford Lane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lane tries to close the distance and clinch up but McGrace swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McGrace let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
McGrace looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGrace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McGrace throws an elbow that misses. Lane uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McGrace's guard. Nice move by Lane!
McGrace bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lane's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGrace is pulling down on Lane's head. It's preventing any offense from Lane, at least for the moment.
McGrace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McGrace is looking for a triangle here but Lane uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
McGrace tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McGrace tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Lane presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Lane breaks from McGrace's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lane has hold of McGrace's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McGrace manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

McGrace wants to hold on but Lane pushes him away.

Lane tries to sprawl but McGrace drives through with a takedown into half guard.

and McGrace connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Buford Lane has been cut.
Lane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lane looks up at the clock and then as McGrace takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lane smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lane fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
A big strike lands for Lane! That's really hurt McGrace and he's turned his back - Lane keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lane jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
