The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean gets tackled into the cage by Anderson. Anderson maintains the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Bean's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Anderson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Anderson for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bean can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bean wants to sweep but no luck.
Anderson postures up in Bean's guard and throws a big left but Bean blocks it.
Anderson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bean's guard.

Anderson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bean defends it well.
Anderson is trying to control. Bean wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Anderson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Anderson winds up and cracks Bean with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Anderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Anderson is keen to just control but Bean is a slippery customer.
Anderson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bean quite badly. Bean pulls Anderson in close trying to recover. Anderson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bean on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bean doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luther Anderson!
After winning the bout, Luther Anderson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
