Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clayton Haller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnny Cash has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Clayton Haller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Cash! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cash shoots in but no luck this time. Haller throws a head kick but Cash moves out of range.
Clayton Haller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cash keeps the fight on the outside. Cash shoots in for a double leg but Haller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cash slips a straight right by Haller. Some wild striking there from Haller.
Haller tries to clinch there but Cash circles away.
Cash shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haller as he avoids it easily. Clayton Haller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Cash. Cash closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Cash working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Cash is trying to get an arm triangle but Haller is defending well. Cash working the ground and pound but Haller is defending the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haller tries to get back to half guard but can't. Haller can't do much from the bottom here. Haller is trying to improve his position. Cash throwing shots but missing, from side control. Haller tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Haller throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Haller lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Cash blocks a jab. Cash misses with a hook. Cash swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Haller misses the shot to the body. Cash has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Cash takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. A slow jab from Haller misses its intended target. Haller misses with a jab, cross combination.
Horrible takedown by Cash or perhaps it was just good defense by Haller which made him look bad. Cash looks gassed! Cash shoots in but Haller avoids the takedown attempt easily. Haller wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cash has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Haller. Haller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cash takes a shot right to the bread basket. Haller tries to clinch up. Haller falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cash counters with a nice double leg into side control. Haller won't be happy with that. Cash wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Haller, who protects the arm well. Cash goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Haller has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cash but great work by Haller. Haller taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cash tries to bench press Haller off him but Haller keeps the position. Cash manages to get back to half guard. Haller tries to stand and escape but Cash is controlling the position. Cash is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Haller pulls his head out easily. Cash misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cash is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clayton Haller dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Haller uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cash has time to react. Cash shoots in and drives through. Haller sprawls well. No joy there for Haller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice sprawl there from Haller as Cash shoots in. Haller lands with a right hand. Haller throws a quick inside leg kick. Cash shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Haller as he jumps to the side. Clayton Haller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Cash. Haller tries to clinch but Cash is having none of it. Haller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Haller scores with a three punch combo!
Haller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Haller lands a with a good body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash takes a body punch but keeps moving. Haller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Haller stuffs the takedown. Haller connects with a crisp jab. Cash looks for a takedown but Haller sprawls well. Haller connects with a looping right hand.
Haller misses with a hook. Clayton Haller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Haller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cash scores with a takedown into Haller's guard. Haller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cash on the ground. Cash passes Haller's left leg - he's now in half guard. Cash looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Cash seems to be working for a kimura but Haller defends the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cash thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Haller's head. Cash scoring with strikes to the body and head. Cash is looking for a kimura but Haller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cash to get the leverage. Cash is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Haller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cash. Cash is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cash is looking for a kimura but Haller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cash to get the leverage. Cash is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Haller has managed to free his arm - good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Haller is trying to break free. Haller tries to break the clinch but Cash is controlling the position. Haller misses with a hook from the clinch. Haller wants to get back to striking at distance but Cash won't allow it.
Cash gets control of Haller's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cash will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Cash is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cash has his foot on Haller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Haller works his way back into a safe position though. Haller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cash has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Haller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Haller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Haller wants to control from the top but Cash keeps moving. Haller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cash working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Haller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Haller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cash has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Haller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Haller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Clayton Haller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Haller controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Cash is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Haller controlling from the top position. Johnny Cash has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cash working for a triangle but Haller defends it easily.
Haller wants to stand but Cash is controlling his posture from full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Johnny Cash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Haller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
