Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ino Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Phillips's choice of entrance music: Quiet Storm by Mobb Deep. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Juan Rios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ino Phillips! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rios has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rios manages to break the clinch.
Phillips thumps Rios with a low kick. Phillips tries to work over Rios's front leg with a kick but Rios checks it. Rios seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Phillips misses with a double jab
and Rios counters with a nice double leg into guard. Rios will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rios's corner is telling him to maintain position. Rios stands up from guard. Let's bang! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phillips misses with a few strikes there.
Rios is looking for a counter combo. Phillips pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phillips throws a sloppy head kick and Rios moves out of range easily. Phillips misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Phillips jabs Rios right on the nose. Rios blinks but takes it well. Rios moves into the clinch. Come on Rios - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Rios ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rios no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Phillips trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rios's guard. Rios controlling Phillips's posture. Rios looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rios has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Rios bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Phillips's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Phillips wants to stand but Rios is controlling the position. Rios is stalling in the full guard. Rios pushes down on Phillips's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rios controlling the action here. Rios really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Phillips for as long as he can get away with. Rios seems to be looking for submissions.
Rios prevents Phillips from standing back up.
Rios looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Phillips pushes Rios off looking to stand but Rios dives back in and keeps control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rios is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Phillips wants to get back to his feet. Rios perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Phillips is looking to escape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rios performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Rios dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Phillips is looking to land body kicks. Phillips wants to slow Rios down by chopping away at his legs. Rios is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Phillips can do to turn this around? Phillips throws a lazy body kick and Rios counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Phillips tries to kick Rios off but Rios keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rios sitting and controlling from the half guard. Rios's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phillips is trying to stand up here but Rios is controlling him well.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rios doesn't manage to clinch there - Phillips circles away.
Phillips throws a wild body kick that Rios sees coming a mile off. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Phillips! Rios is out on his feet! Phillips rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rios is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rios is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ino Phillips! A very excited looking Ino Phillips made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
