Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rancho Wildslap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wildslap is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Get Schwifty. Rancho Wildslap told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida avoids a punch combination nicely.
Almeida tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wildslap paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wildslap will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wildslap darts in and clinches Almeida up against the cage.
Wildslap lands a takedown into guard.
Wildslap working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Wildslap cracks Almeida with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Wildslap postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Wildslap has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Almeida is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Wildslap yanks on the arm and Almeida is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Wildslap.
