The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundy gets a clinch.
Mars lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Grundy backwards.
Grundy avoiding damage as Mars throws knees to the body.

Mars throws a shot from downtown. Grundy moves away and avoids it.
Mars has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Vincent Mars seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grundy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mars's calf.
Mars pushes Grundy away with a front kick.
Grundy throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mars.
Mars's jab looks to have found its range, popping Grundy under the eye.
Mars throws a leg kick but Grundy sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Mars struggles to land a body shot inside as Grundy controls his hands.
Mars swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Mars blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
