The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson closes the distance and clinches.
Hajia goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hajia misses with a hook from the clinch.
Hajia has had enough of the clinch but Stevenson keeps him there for the moment.
Hajia tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hajia drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hajia fails to pull guard.
Brian Stevenson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Machiro Hajia.
Hajia is trying to break free.
Stevenson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hajia regains guard immediately.
Stevenson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hajia has momentary wrist control but Stevenson slips an elbow through the middle.
Stevenson is pushing down on Hajia's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hajia is fighting to maintain full guard but Stevenson has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hajia is thowing punches from the bottom. Stevenson grabs hold of a loose arm and pivots for an armbar! It's tight and Hajia has to tap! Superb work there from Stevenson!
