Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Hurst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristian Eriksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Hurst!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cristian Eriksen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurst misses with a kick to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Hurst jumps guard.

Eriksen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hurst looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hurst looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hurst!

Eriksen struggling a bit here.
Eriksen is looking to regain half guard here but Hurst keeps moving and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Eriksen is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Hurst takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Eriksen takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Hurst could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hurst cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Eriksen wants to control but Hurst is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Eriksen can do anything to dispel that myth.

Eriksen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Hurst has hold of Eriksen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Eriksen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hurst has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hurst lands a big shot there that rocks Eriksen but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hurst is landing with some decent strikes but Eriksen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Eriksen is looking to improve his position but Hurst isn't that keen on the idea.

Eriksen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hurst is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Eriksen to the mat. Eriksen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Hurst is standing up over Eriksen. Eriksen looks to escape but Hurst dives into side control.

Hurst gets to mount! Eriksen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Hurst moves into the clinch successfully.
Hurst has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Eriksen after a bit of a struggle.
Hurst tries to pull guard but Eriksen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Hurst is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Hurst. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hurst gets control of Eriksen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hurst will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hurst has his feet on Eriksen's thighs here. He's pushed Eriksen off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Eriksen screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
