Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between De Bruyne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blind Shaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruyne comes into the arena with Busta Rhymes - Other Side Of The Road blaring out of the sound system. Shaman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shaman's Dream kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 6 - 3, fighting out of New York, De Bruyne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 2, fighting out of New York, Blind Shaman! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaman throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Shaman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Bruyne throws a leg kick but Shaman moved away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shaman! But no joy. Shaman takes a swing at Bruyne's ribcage but misses. Bruyne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shaman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bruyne is looking to regain half guard here but Shaman keeps moving and retains side control. Bruyne is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Shaman off and has taken his back! Bruyne controls the position. Bruyne not allowing Shaman to control his hands. Shaman is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Bruyne.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruyne thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Bruyne wants to control but Shaman is keeping busy. Bruyne slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Shaman is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Bruyne has the hooks in. Shaman is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Shaman has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Bruyne. Shaman turns into Bruyne and is now in his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bruyne keeping moving, preventing Shaman from controlling successfully. Shaman looking to pass the guard. Bruyne wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bruyne has his hands on Shaman's head, controlling the position. Bruyne working a defensive guard here.

Shaman misses with an uppercut
and Bruyne counters with a nice uppercut. Bruyne throws a nice outside leg kick. Shaman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice cross by Bruyne. A decent looking body kick lands there for Bruyne. Bruyne throws a leg kick but Shaman moved away. De Bruyne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bruyne throws the left hand but Shaman avoids the punch easily. Bruyne scores with a body shot.
Shaman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Shaman throws a body punch but Bruyne moves out of range. Bruyne swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shaman. Bruyne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bruyne takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. This has been an exciting period of action! Shaman scores with a jab. Bruyne acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bruyne avoids the head kick by Shaman.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaman takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Blind Shaman has been cut. De Bruyne is winning the standup battle so far. Bruyne is looking to land body kicks. Shaman let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Shaman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bruyne. Bruyne obviously looking to wear him down.
Shaman checks a leg kick. Bruyne misses with a straight left. Some wild striking there from Shaman.
Bruyne slips a jab from Shaman. Bruyne takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Shaman ducks under a wild hook from Bruyne. Shaman misses with an uppercut. Bruyne lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Shaman misses with a straight left. Shaman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Shaman there as he acknowledges the shot. Sloppy strikes from Shaman. Those never looked like landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bruyne but Bruyne pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bruyne smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bruyne takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bruyne lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shaman at a distance.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bruyne. That's going to slow Shaman down. Bruyne pushes Shaman up against the cage in a clinch. Shaman misses with some punches.
Shaman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

A right handed body shot lands from Bruyne.
Bruyne lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Shaman backwards. Bruyne lands on the inside with an uppercut. Shaman gets a trip takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaman is stalling here. Bruyne is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Shaman seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bruyne has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Bruyne advances to full mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bruyne cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bruyne lands a big shot there that rocks Shaman but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Shaman is rocked! Shaman takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Bruyne's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). De Bruyne! A relieved looking De Bruyne thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
