The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambert on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Winfield's coach down at Helsinki Fight Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Winfield's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lambert is trying hard to land a takedown here. Winfield sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Winfield keeps the fight on the outside.
Winfield swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Winfield misses with a looping right.
Lambert closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Winfield counter with a right hand.
Lambert has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Elite Strikers in the buildup to the fight.
Winfield has managed to clinch.
Lambert lands a nice elbow.
Lambert swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Lambert misses with an elbow strike.
Winfield has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lambert regains guard immediately.
Winfield postures up in Lambert's guard and throws a big left but Lambert blocks it.

Winfield stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Lambert has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Winfield manages to get his head free but now Lambert has transitioned to an armbar! Winfield grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Lambert! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
