Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Alvin Ray Dunkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Sagat!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat blocks a head kick by Dunkin.
Sagat loads up on a big right hand but Dunkin slips the punch.
And Dunkin counters with a quick kick to the body but Sagat blocks it.
An inside leg kick lands from Dunkin.
Sagat cracks Dunkin with a right hand to the side of the head.
Dunkin works over Sagat's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Victor Sagat has been cut.
Dunkin throws a wild body kick that Sagat sees coming a mile off.
Sagat slips under a jab.
A solid body kick from Sagat.
Sagat lands a jab to the head.
Sagat connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dunkin's hands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dunkin misses with a wild body shot.
Sagat flicks out a counter leg kick but Dunkin steps away.
Sagat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dunkin manages to avoid it.
Dunkin misses with a hook.
Sagat throws a low kick but Dunkin avoids it.
Dunkin tests Sagat's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sagat moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Sagat blocks the body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sagat throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dunkin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dunkin drops Sagat with a right and a left! Dunkin comes rushing in but Sagat regains his composure and manages to keep Dunkin in guard.
Sagat wants to sweep here but Dunkin controlling him for the moment.
Dunkin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dunkin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sagat is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sagat has escaped and now he's on top!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dunkin pushes Sagat off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sagat blocks a jab.
That kick from Sagat tenderised Dunkin's leg. Dunkin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dunkin just misses with a punch to the body.
Sagat is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Dunkin doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Sagat crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Sagat's bad books for that mishap!
